Artist's Description
The water from the Ausable River in New York reaches the end of the High Falls Gorge, splashing on the rocks at the bottom, before swirling into the lake below. This was a longer exposure to show the movement of the water as it splashes and swirls. Taken in the beginning of September, one can observe the yellow-tinted leaves, which anticipate the autumn change.

About Amanda Jones
Hello and thanks for stopping by! I have been utilizing cameras as a tool with which to capture the beauty of God's creation since the 1990's. My main goal as a photographer is to glorify my Savior by capturing and sharing His creativity in the natural world. Working with both film and digital, I utilize the best of both worlds, including the dynamic and unmatched colors available with some of my favorite films and the unlimited resources of digital. I strongly believe that photography isn't about cameras and equipment. It's a way of seeing the world, and it's always a matter of Light & Perspective! I hope you enjoy the pictures, and feel free to e-mail or message me with any questions! -Amanda
