Artist's Description

Last Light: The sun sets as storms build and dissipate all around. Meanwhile, the mountain top at Spruce Knob proffers a perfect place to sit and enjoy the stunning view, surrounded by all the natural beauty of the evergreen trees and wildflowers. Endurance: Evergreen trees are the perfect representation of endurance. Growing in some of the most seemingly inhospitable areas, they provide shelter for other living things from the harsh elements. During long winters, these trees remain green and thriving, producing a sharp, dark green contrast to the otherwise grey world of winter. About Amanda Jones

Amanda Jones

Hello and thanks for stopping by! I have been utilizing cameras as a tool with which to capture the beauty of God's creation since the 1990's. My main goal as a photographer is to glorify my Savior by capturing and sharing His creativity in the natural world. Working with both film and digital, I utilize the best of both worlds, including the dynamic and unmatched colors available with some of my favorite films and the unlimited resources of digital. I strongly believe that photography isn't about cameras and equipment. It's a way of seeing the world, and it's always a matter of Light & Perspective! I hope you enjoy the pictures, and feel free to e-mail or message me with any questions! -Amanda
