Further down Elakala Creek, a side fall glistens in the midday sunlight. This creek runs into the Blackwater River, named for its copper color from the tannins added to the water via decaying foliage. The Blackwater River flows in this part through the Monongahela National Forest.
Hello and thanks for stopping by! I have been utilizing cameras as a tool with which to capture the beauty of God's creation since the 1990's. My main goal as a photographer is to glorify my Savior by capturing and sharing His creativity in the natural world. Working with both film and digital, I utilize the best of both worlds, including the dynamic and unmatched colors available with some of my favorite films and the unlimited resources of digital. I strongly believe that photography isn't about cameras and equipment. It's a way of seeing the world, and it's always a matter of Light & Perspective! I hope you enjoy the pictures, and feel free to e-mail or message me with any questions! -Amanda
