Thanks so much, Sergey! I loved Iceland and hope to go back again someday!!

Artist's Description

A walking path northeast of Reykjavik, Iceland, took me up a large hill revealing the beautiful mountains in the distance with the last areas of snow and ice still melting in the warm summer afternoon. The purple wildflowers (Alaskan lupine) had a sweet aroma that wind carried along.

About Amanda Jones

Amanda Jones

Hello and thanks for stopping by! I have been utilizing cameras as a tool with which to capture the beauty of God's creation since the 1990's. My main goal as a photographer is to glorify my Savior by capturing and sharing His creativity in the natural world. Working with both film and digital, I utilize the best of both worlds, including the dynamic and unmatched colors available with some of my favorite films and the unlimited resources of digital. I strongly believe that photography isn't about cameras and equipment. It's a way of seeing the world, and it's always a matter of Light & Perspective! I hope you enjoy the pictures, and feel free to e-mail or message me with any questions! -Amanda
